We’re based in Newton St Cyres and provide care across the Exe Valley and surrounding communities, including villages near Exeter. As we grow, we’ll expand gradually to ensure we maintain our high standards of care and supervision.

We provide personal care and support at home for adults aged 18 and over. This includes help with washing, dressing, meals, medication, mobility, and companionship. Our team also specialises in dementia care, complex health needs, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care — always delivered with compassion and respect.

Our carers are carefully selected, DBS-checked, and fully trained before working independently. Many have NHS or community care experience, and all receive ongoing training, supervision, and wellbeing support. We recruit for values first — kindness, reliability, and professionalism are what matter most.

We have a strong governance and quality assurance framework led by our Registered Manager and directors, who all have senior NHS and social care backgrounds. Regular audits, client feedback, and supervision help us maintain high standards in line with CQC’s Key Questions: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.

Yes. Exe Valley Home Care Ltd is registered with the CQC to provide personal care under the Health and Social Care Act 2008. As a new company our aim is to achieve and maintain an “Outstanding” CQC rating through consistent, transparent quality improvement.

We start with a free, no-obligation assessment in your home. Together, we’ll discuss your needs, preferences, and routines to design a personalised care plan. This plan is reviewed regularly to make sure it continues to meet your goals and adapt to any changes.

Our rates are transparent and competitive. Prices vary depending on the level and duration of support, but we ensure carers are fairly paid while keeping our service excellent value. We’re happy to provide a clear written quotation after your initial assessment — with no hidden fees.

We take data protection and confidentiality very seriously. Your personal information is stored securely, used only for care delivery, and handled in full compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We encourage open communication. You can speak to your carer, our Registered Manager, or a director at any time. We also have a Complaints and Compliments Policy and a Duty of Candour commitment, meaning we will always be honest, transparent, and proactive in resolving concerns.

Yes. We often work alongside GPs, district nurses, occupational therapists, and local authority social care teams to ensure joined-up, holistic support.
